About

The Colorado Metalsmithing Organization emerged in 1994 as a fine arts organization whose goal is to involve its members in a state wide exchange of creative and technical knowledge about the art of metalsmithing.

Our membership includes jewelers, sculptors, blacksmiths and other professionals interested in supporting the arts.

CoMA has organized through Colorado State University and the Colorado Library System a catalog of metalsmithing books available to all.

In 1996, CoMA became a 501(C3) nonprofit organization. This status has allowed us to take advantage of new programming and fundraising. CoMA is an organization that deeply involves its membership in the management of programs with a completely volunteer board of directors and volunteer committee chairpersons.
