Dedicated to Metal Art
::: About Us :::
We are Colorado Metalsmithing Association (CoMA). We welcome all who have a love and appreciation for metal art in all its forms.
CoMA emerged in 1994 as a fine arts organization whose goal is to involve its members in a state wide exchange of creative and technical knowledge about the art of metalsmithing. Since then our membership has expanded throughout the United States.
Our membership includes jewelers, sculptors, blacksmiths and other professionals interested in supporting the arts. We believe in continuing education and hold a number of workshops throughout the year.
At our annual convention in July, we have speakers with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Generally those convention speakers teach workshops before or after the convention week, depending on their schedules.
In 1996, CoMA became a 501(C3) nonprofit organization. This status has allowed us to take advantage of new programming and fundraising. CoMA is an organization that deeply involves its membership in the management of programs with a completely volunteer board of directors and volunteer committee chairpersons.
