CoMA Members are asked to submit up to three one-of-a-kind pieces for consideration to be included in our holiday show! Submissions will go through a jurying process to ensure standards of craftsmanship and design. Selected artwork will be displayed at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts in Lafayette, CO during the month of November.

Application/Show Details

Applicants may submit between 1-3 individual works. Each must be an original design by the artist and there are no minimums/maximums on retail prices. Although, pieces between $150-500 have a history of selling better at SPJA. Some restrictions on size of work: smaller objects, vessels or small sculpture are all encouraged. Each item must be available for sale under the consignment agreement of Silver Peak Jewelry Arts:

Consignment Agreement: 50% artist / 40% SPJA / 10% to establish a scholarship program at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts for those wanting to learn to metalsmith but cannot afford to do so.

You must apply with the actual work to be exhibited and the work must be available for the full duration of the exhibition. All pieces exhibited will be insured for the full duration of the exhibition by SPJA.

Objects must be photographed and emailed to exhibitions@coloradometalsmiths.org in jpg format no larger than 1MB each.  Please put Members-Only Show as the subject line and name each file in the following format: Lastname_Firstname_1.jpg, Lastname_Firstname_2.jpg, etc.

Jurors: Jennifer Lesea-Ames, owner of SPJA and Christine Lupo, a designer and maker with 20+ years experience in the industry

Important Dates

Application Deadline: Sept 30, 11:59pm MST
Jurying: October 1-15

Artist Notification: October 17
Work Delivered Deadline: Oct 27
Show Dates: Nov 1-30
Opening Reception: Nov 1, 4-7pm

Closing Reception: Nov 30, 5-7pm

Artist pick up: Dec. 1-8, or provide return shipping label via email. Any work not picked up by December 8 will be donated to Silver Peak Jewelry Arts.

Payout Date: Payments for sold work will be arranged by SPJA by Dec 20th.​​​
